Such a ban would protect our children from the many dangers of secondhand smoke and foster a healthy community in San Jose. At its November 2 meeting, the San Jose Parks and Recreation Commission will decide whether to recommend a smoke-free parks proposal to the city council. Make sure the comissioners know that a smoke-free parks proposal is an important issue to you. You can show your support of the smoking ban by:

1) Attending the San Jose Parks and Recreation Commission meeting. Each meeting allows the opportunity for the public to address the commission. Join us on:
